BSB Riders Strong Contenders For Championship Using K-Tech Suspension

After the weekend’s excitement at Brands Hatch bringing the first half of the British Superbike Championships to a close, riders using K-Tech Suspension have proved they're still very much focused on the battle ahead to this year's champions.

Despite a tough weekend of racing in Round 6, Josh Brookes (Anvil Hire Tag Racing) now sits fifth in the MCE British Superbike Championship with 129 points, only 32 points behind second place Luke Mossey, with 9 podium credits. The Australian, who uses K-Tech Suspension’s new KTR-4 front forks and DDS Pro shock absorber, took the team’s first ever British Superbike pole and set a new lap record and during the weekend,demonstrating that he has what it takes to to be a serious contender in the approaching races. Brooke’s stands third in the Speedy Fastest Lap League and has also contributed to Anvil Hire Tag Racings standings in the WNT Teams Trophy, where they currently sit third with a total of 206 points.
Christian Iddon, who is seventh in the championship, enjoyed returning to the podium in Race 2 of the British Superbikes, after missing the two previous rounds due to an injury. Iddon (Tyco BMW Motorrad), now has a total of 110 points and is just 9 points behind Peter Hickman in sixth.

Meanwhile in the National Pirelli Superstock 1000 Championship, Danny Buchan (Morello Racing) has his feet firmly on the top spot with 220 points. Buchan who uses K-Tech DDS cartridges and DDS Pro shock absorber, enjoyed two podiums during the weekend and achieved the fastest lap in Race 1 and Race 2. Also enjoying great successes in this year’s Superstock 1000 Championship is Michael Rutter (BMW Bathams SMT) , who strengthened his third place championship standing by taking two podiums during the weekend. Buchan is currently sitting 13.5 points ahead of Chrissy Rouse.

In the Ducati TriOptions Cup, Rob Quiver (Ducati Romford/Hyside Racing) has raced his way into a strong second place in the championship, after winning Race 2 ahead of Jonathan Railton.
Fans won’t have to wait long to find out what the second half of the British Superbike Championship has in store, as Round 7 takes place at Thruxton in less that two week’s time from 4th – 6th August.
